Nude confetti nails

Today I decided to use my loreal confetti nail varnish! I've used the nail varnish with a base coat, the base colour is by Ciate and is called Amazing Gracie! 

I love this colour from Ciate its so pretty and the loreal confetti has added a lovely touch to my nails! It requires you to delicately dab the brush and keep layering the confetti up!

Fairy dust sparkle nails

Did my nails today using my favourite brand - Ciate! I've chosen to use two bottles.

These shades are shown below - one consists of just glitter to go over the top of the pink nail varnish

I use a small funnel to get rid of any unnecessary glitter that hasn't stuck to the nail. This means when applying the glitter, I do it over a cup so that all the glitter can be poured back into the bottle using the funnel!

This is the final result!

Ciate hopscotch

Really impressed with this shade of Ciates, it's called hopscotch and is colour which id describe as a shade inbetween red and orange.

It's a lovely summer shade and works well with most outfits! It's a really bright colour and not very shiny so I added some uv nail varnish to give them a shiny finish! 

Ok magazine have recently done a feature of summer nail varnishes and I'm shocked that this varnish isn't in the magazine! There are similar colours in the magazine, featuring the Ciate bubblegum which looks really good! I've taken a picture of the page here for you to see!

Models own nail swatch

Here's just a small look at my new Models Own nail varnish, in a pale brown colour! It was easy to apply and plenty of paint gets onto the brush so you're not having to constantly re-dip. 

The nail varnish is super shiny and dries fast, I applied just two coats to my nails which was unusual because normally when applying nail varnish I have to apply  three.

Lovely neutral colour which would work well for weddings or work, giving a classy look.

The nail varnish actually comes with some nail stickers. However, I've chosen not to use them as I'm going on holiday in two weeks and my nails will need re-doing so it'd be a waste of stickers!

Zigzag glitter nails

Above shows the three nail varnishes I've used to create my zigzag glitter nails. 

Starting with Ciate Sugar plum I applied one layer to my nails leaving the finger nail next to my little finger without any.

Then I applied a second coat of sugar plum and waited awhile for the nails to dry and then continued to put a third coat. 

Then using ciate confetti nail varnish I applied this to the remaining fingernail.

Above shows the nail varnish Ciate Confetti which I used on one single nail. 

Above shows what the nail varnish looks after one layer.

You will need to keep re applying the confetti nail varnish as it is quite thin and i like to have a thick glitter effect.

Above shows the fingernail with two coats of glitter and I wasn't happy about how it looked so continued to apply the nail varnish until I had my desired nail.

Above now shows my nails with the final coat of glitter nail varnish, this took a while to do as I needed to make sure the glitter was even and consistent. 

I then applied my sticker zigzags to my nail pressing them down to make sure none of the varnish bleeds onto other parts of the nail. 

Using white Barry M paint I then painted over the top of the nail stickers. Make sure to use a thin coat.

Once painted I took the stickers off the nail instantly! This will prevent them getting stuck and a none messy look.

Above shows that the nails aren't perfect and it is messy. But after a good nail varnish remover and cotton bud you can touch them up. If the nails have bled and aren't perfect, go over the nails using your ordinary nail varnish brush.
